Newborn sessions are held in a comfortable and relaxed studio in N. Phoenix, setting with a variety of props and accessories available to use. or I can travel to your home depending on availability.

Milestone

Milestone sessions are baby only sessions we photograph at some exciting points in their first year! Our milestone photography session will usually last about an hour or less. That's just the right amount of time to capture those adorable moments making anyone feel rushed. Babies are unpredictable so we do move quickly, but it’s all in an attempt to avoid a meltdown.

I create bright, bold, and emotional fine-art family photography infused with warmth and vibrant color. My goal is to capture authentic, intimate moments—those small gestures and big celebrations—that reveal the true connection between you and your loved ones.

  • Family Photography: Light-filled outdoor sessions (often at golden hour) in local scenic spots like Sedona, rivers, or parks. I capture laughter, cuddles, hand‑holding, and playful twirls—moments that speak straight to your heart

The Booking Process

Booking & Workflow Process First, you are to Reach Out & Let’s Chat Start by filling out my contact form or sending me a DM on Instagram or email me! I’ll respond within 24–48 hours to schedule a quick chat (phone, email, Zoom, or IG messenger—whatever works best for you). We’ll talk about your vision, what to expect, and make sure we’re the perfect fit. Once you're ready to move forward, I’ll send over a booking form for you to fill out. This will include everything you need to lock in your session date. A retainer is required to reserve your spot, and the remaining balance is due one week before your session.

Styling Prep & Planning-Pre Session

Whether you choose an in-studio or outdoor photo session for your family, maternity, or newborn, you will receive a customized experience tailored specifically to you. Styling Prep & Planning After booking, I’ll invite you to come meet me at my studio for a fun and relaxed styling appointment. You’ll have the chance to browse and try on outfits from my beautiful client closet and we’ll go over every detail—from wardrobe styling to session flow. You’ll also receive a personalized Style Portrait Prep Guide filled with location ideas, wardrobe inspiration, hair & makeup tips, and everything you need to feel confident and fully prepped.

FALL FMAILY PHOTOGRAPHY WITH CHILDREN IN PHEONIX ARIZONA

During Session - For You

My sessions are authentic and emotional, and motherhood is my true guide. I love to take both posed and candid moments. During your family session, I'll gently guide you through activities that encourage natural emotions, playful interactions, and affectionate moments. The resulting images will create a heartfelt story of the love and connection within your family. I do not deliver galleries full of posed images. My goal is for you to see and feel how full of life and love your family is through your images. Sessions usually last 60–90 minutes. I’ll gently guide you through posing and prompts, blending timeless portraits with candid moments that feel like you. Most outdoor sessions are scheduled around sunrise or sunset for that dreamy light. A mix of posed and playful moments with lots of laughter, movement, and connection.

Session Options Studio Posed Newborn: Classic, timeless portraits taken in my cozy Phoenix studio using wraps, props, and gentle, guided posing. Lifestyle Newborn at Home: A natural, intimate session that captures real-life moments and connection in your own home. Fresh 48 Hospital Session: Taken within the first 48 hours of birth at your hospital or birthing center—perfect for documenting those raw, emotional first hours of life.

After Session - Your Gallery

After Your Session Proof Gallery & Image Selection After your session, I begin the careful post-production process. Every image is reviewed and culled to remove any that are blurry or off in composition—only the best make it to your gallery. Within 2–3 weeks, you'll receive a soft proof gallery with unedited images. From there, you’ll select your favorites for final editing. Editing is where the magic truly happens. Each selected image is hand-edited by me—no presets, no shortcuts—just careful attention to detail and my signature style. Once your final images are perfected, you’ll receive a digital download gallery, ready to be printed, shared, and cherished for years to come.

Summer was absolutely wonderful with our newborn who was 10 days old during her photoshoot. Summer was always so patient when my daughter was being fussy and I appreciated the fact that Summer never rushed the feedings or the wardrobe changes which helped keep my baby calm for the duration of her photoshoot. Summer does an amazing job posing the newborns and has such a talent for knowing what colors and outfits will look the best. Summer is an amazing photographer--talk about attention to detail from the outfits, location, nails, shoes OF EVERYONE IN THE PICTURE! I'm a planner and I also appreciated that Summer and I discussed plan A or plan B depending on weather and possible accommodations. We loved how the maternity pictures turned out! We're waiting for the baby to come so we can do our newborn pictures, too. I also appreciated her response time and follow up from before the photoshoot and when the gallery was ready. Update: We love our newborn pictures! Just like with our maternity photoshoot, Summer was ready with the details and responsive to my color requests (background, props, clothes, Christmas because we have a December baby). The gallery was up and ready on time and we had an exciting time picking out pictures since there was a good variety of them to choose from.
