Hello, I'm Summer

I'm the photographer behind Summer Elizabeth Photography, specializing in newborn, maternity, and family portraits in Phoenix, Scottsdale and surrounding Arizona communities.

My goal is to make your portrait experience feel easy, personal; and beautifully planned from beginning to end.

For newborn sessions, your baby's comfort and safety always come first. I provide gentle posing, wraps, outfits, props and a relaxed studio environment that feels like home, so you can enjoy this special time without worrying about all the little details.

For maternity and family session, I'll help you with wardrobe styling, locations and posing while still capturing the genuine connection, laugh, and love that make your family yours.

Summer was absolutely wonderful with our newborn who was 10 days old during her photoshoot. Summer was always so patient when my daughter was being fussy and I appreciated the fact that Summer never rushed the feedings or the wardrobe changes which helped keep my baby calm for the duration of her photoshoot. Summer does an amazing job posing the newborns and has such a talent for knowing what colors and outfits will look the best. I was in awe of how she was able to get the perfect picture every single time! It was an absolute pleasure working with Summer and we will definitely be using her again in the future!

Summer is an amazing photographer--talk about attention to detail from the outfits, location, nails, shoes OF EVERYONE IN THE PICTURE! I'm a planner and I also appreciated that Summer and I discussed plan A or plan B depending on weather and possible accommodations. We loved how the maternity pictures turned out! We're waiting for the baby to come so we can do our newborn pictures, too. I also appreciated her response time and follow up from before the photoshoot and when the gallery was ready. Update: We love our newborn pictures! Just like with our maternity photoshoot, Summer was ready with the details and responsive to my color requests (background, props, clothes, Christmas because we have a December baby). The gallery was up and ready on time and we had an exciting time picking out pictures since there was a good variety of them to choose from.
